GT World Challenge Europe
The world's deepest GT3 grids — pro drivers, supercar brands, and the Spa 24 Hours.
What is GT World Challenge Europe?
GT World Challenge Europe is SRO's flagship GT3 championship and the place where supercar brands settle their arguments: Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Audi, Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin all field near-identical-performance GT3 machinery with factory-backed professional crews.
The championship combines Sprint and Endurance Cups. The 24 Hours of Spa is its longest event; other endurance rounds have different durations, so the label Endurance Cup does not mean every race lasts three hours.
How a race weekend works
Sprint Cup weekends normally feature two one-hour races with driver changes. Endurance durations include three, six and 24 hours in 2026. Check each event's entry list for crew composition and its timetable for the finish time.
Balance of Performance keeps wildly different supercars within tenths of each other, so races are decided by pit work, traffic management and driver pairings rather than horsepower.
How to follow it
Every race streams free and in full on the GT World YouTube channel with English commentary — one of the best free-viewing deals in motorsport.
Start with the Spa 24 Hours in late June: the opening hours and the dawn stint are the two windows no fan should miss.
Did you know?
- ›The Spa 24 Hours predates the Le Mans 24 Hours' famous circuit layout debates — it was first run in 1924, one year after Le Mans began.
- ›GT3 cars racing here are genuinely related to road cars: the same chassis lines, engines and badges you can order from a dealer.
